Friday Cruise Route Set for 2010 Festival
The Friday night cruise route has been set for 2010, beginning once again at the Yuma Greyhound Park and traveling through Yuma to the festival venue at the Ray Kroc Complex. For those in attendance last year, the route is similar to the 2009 route, but with the elimination of the minor jog through the old K-Mart parking lot. The new Route takes the cruise north on Avenue B and then turning directly onto 32nd Street.

Fun Run Returns to Midnight at the Oasis
The Midnight at the Oasis Fun Run is back by popular demand for the 2010 festival. the first run is on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and the second takes place from 9 am to 11:30 am on Saturday. Entrants will travel throughout Yuma, stopping at landmarks and sponsors before returning to the Ray Kroc Complex.  They will choose a card at each stop and it will be recorded by a Caballeros volunteer. The car that concludes the run with the best Poker hand will be declared the winner. First prize is a free guaranteed entry in the 2011 Midnight at the Oasis Festival and three raffle tickets for a custom classic 1957 Chevrolet. Second place receives three raffle tickets and third place receives two raffle tickets. Watch the Midnight at the Oasis website for future details and announcements from Cruise Chairman Bill DeNise
New Sign-In / Packet Pick-Up Area
Entrants arriving for this year's festival, hopefully will see a much improved system to retrieve your registration packets. This year the pick-up will take place in the Yuma Civic Center rather than the stadium ticket booth, that has served as the sign-in location for the past 16 years at Midnight at the Oasis Festivals. Our event has outgrown this area and moving to the Civic Center will allow more sign-in points, alleviating many of the problems cited in our after-event online survey of car entrants. The new area also will include a room for Car Clubs and other groups to collect materials for their members. The Caballeros, in addition, will set up a novelty area where extra shirts, hats and other items may be purchased in advance of the festival opening. The Civic Center is also the cite of the Friday Night Reception, the Saturday Luncheon and the Sunday Awards Brunch.
Purchase Your Reserved Parking Permit Online
Reserved parking permits for the 2010 festival are now available online for purchase. Permits are priced at $10. Only one permit per car registered.  Permits purchased online will be available at registration on Friday, March 5. The permits reserve a space on the outer three fields of the Ray Kroc Complex for the entire weekend. Car clubs wishing to purchase permits for their members will be able to pick up the permits as a group - a special area will be set aside for car club package and permit pickup. Be sure to follow instructions on permit purchase page for purchasing multiple permits
